The diagnosis of "prostatitis" is confirmed by rectal examination (changes and size of the prostate, the degree of its elasticity and the absence of foreign matter), in ultrasound for inflammationacute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis to exclude the presence of cysts and stones. And also in laboratory tests for pathogenic flora and uroflowmetry, when the rate of urine flow and the duration of this process are examined. If the patient's urine flow measurement reads less than 10 ml per second, the patient's urethra is significantly narrowed, which is often a sign of prostate problems.
